The essay analyzes the crime referred to in Article 612-ter of the Criminal Code, aimed at the prevention and repression of some particular conducts (restrictive revenge porn or extensive revenge porn), intended to limit or compromise some fundamental rights, such as: the right to privacy, image, reputation, self-determination (personal and sexual) and, last but not least, freedom.
