Il lavoro è dedicato al tema delle affirmative actions nell’ambito della higher education negli Stati Uniti, con particolare riferimento al tema delle minoranze. Dopo un esame di alcuni precedenti giurisprudenziali, l’autore si sofferma sulla sentenza Fisher v. University of Texas.

Thys essay is dedicated to the Affirmative actions in the higher education, in the USA, whit focus on the issue of minorities. The paper analyzes in detail those issues, especially concerning the compatibility with the Consitutional principles of personal responsibility and proportionality.  After an examination of some legal precedents, the author analyzes in detail Fisher v. University of Texas ruling.
